Hello, I’m Amy, aka ashereast.

I’m a self-taught artist working from my home in Asheville, North Carolina. I’m a nature lover (current and prehistoric) and most of my work emerges from a deep-rooted delight in all living, long dead and totally made up creatures. I like to work on a variety of projects and enjoy traditional pencil and watercolor as well as digital drawing and painting.

My latest work is powered by a renewed obsession with the more unruly side of watercolor and the gods of my childhood imagination: horses.
